I just ordered some udderly smooth, half the price or less of assos. I can't see how such stuff would be gender specific?

Assos works for me but my experience with udderly smooth was a waste of money.

Another important tip is clean shorts / bibs every time and since I started showering before a ride I find that I need very little Assos cream.

Assos every time, tried udderly stuff and its rubbish but a good cheaper alternative is sudocreme, the white stuff you use on babies

I'd not thought about women's specific before but as I was looking for some I came across Dznuts women's bliss. It just made me wonder if it matters which cream I used

Never used it cant see why you would unless your a triathlete or something.

Let's just say I was pretty sore when I did a 100 miles, don't want that again. Sudocreme is good for after the event but I wouldn't want it all over my cycling shorts, thick and greasy

Triathletes generally aren't cycling for 10 hours...
