Are cyclists more left wing?

Looks like Halfords assembled their bike, judging by the position of the handlebars.

I class my area on the political spectrum somewhere to the left of centre.
Many of my friends think I'm right wing, only because I'm very definitely a capitalist, (whereas some of my friends are borderline communist).

I'm a member of a well known Motorhome forum, by their standards I'm a rabid left wing looney, to such an extent that I've been banned in the past and I'm now limited to selected non-political and non-off subject discussions.

Therefore I think cyclists are therefore actually left of centre, when compared to the general non-city based populace.
We are seen as the 'Metropolitan Elite' by many beyond out city limits
