very much a morning person. Usually up by 6.00am. Unfortunately I'm also a late night person, and the two don't go well together ;)

Dear god no.*

* - 'morning' being defined as whatever time I'm supposed to get up. I once spent an entire weekend asleep, but I was a student and could afford such luxuries.

I'm a morning person and get up most days at 0500 hrs, even on days off. However I'm normally in the bed by 2100 hrs unless I'm socialising!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I know what you mean, usually I only get 5 - 6 hours sleep and find anymore than this makes me feel tired.

I wake up very early then struggle to get back to sleep until 15 minutes before the alarm is due to go off when i go into a deep slumber.

Weekends i promise myself a lie in and get up at 7 in case i'm missing something.
As others have posted i am not good at going to bed early and could happily sit until 2 in the morning.

I actually wish I was a morning person. I love the peace and quiet of very early morning.
Bear in mind that I was a postman for nine years and had to be at work for 5am.... Getting up is always a ghastly trauma whatever time of day it is so it was actually no worse than getting up at 8 for my current job.

Early autumn mornings could be very lovely though and once I followed a badger as it lumbered down a residential road.
