During my Sunday morning ride, I always stop off at the Cafe at the top of Box Hill, Surrey. Every time I arrive at the top I always seem to get chatting to the same Italian girl. Unfortunately, I don't know her name. All I know as that she rides a green and white Colnago around 5'5" height long brown hair and brown eyes and comes from Milan.....do you use this forum?

I can finally reveal the answer to a question that has been puzzling a lot of people on P&L.

Any tips?

I've only ever driven up it and that Hill looks daunting just driving towards it!

Just take it steady, get into a rhythm at the onset and stick to it- the incline isn't too steep (about 6%) but it does go on for awhile.
I find the decent a little hairy with the speed humps and the 180 degree hairpins.

Yeah, nice and easy, get a good pace going and you will be fine. Its not that hard, Infact, you might bump into that lovely Italian girl on her Colnago! There is also a very good cycle shop on the top.
