What do ppl who do not have a shower at work do refresh themselves when they arrive wet and/or sweaty?
Someone mentioned to me that if there is no shower facilities available, wiping down with baby wipes works quite well.
Any other suggestions?

Baby wipes are very handy.

Just park yourself in your work bathroom with a facecloth...wipe all the 'important' parts, apply the baby wipes, then your deodorant of choice (anti perspirant).

Get used to strange looks and funny comments....all part of being a cyclist. ;)

Face cloth / flannel for me, although it's easier where you have a private toilet with a sink, rather than a row of cubicles. Use the disabled facilities.

But I usually just wear a t shirt and take the work shirt in a bag, applying The Lynx Effect when changing.

(I should point out that this is motorcycling rather than cycling, but the effect is similar when the temperature gets much about 20°C)

Hi scottie,i shower before i leave for work,i wear full cycling gear.ie bib shorts/longs base layer top with cycling jersey LS or SS sometimes with jacket on top of that. When i arrive at work i have a cold drink from water bottle,10-15 minutes later fully cooled down, change into work clothing carried in panniers.I mentioned in apther thread that sure for men anti perspirant stick is awesome,i only apply once before i leave out.

Hope this helps

Keep base layer on for 1/2 hour. Then remove, apply deodorant, and put on work shirt.

Make sure that you aren't wearing too much in the first place. If you are too cold, then you can speed up to generate more heat. To hot, then you won't get much benefit from slowing down, and you will get into work late.

When I lived near Brum a few years back, I had a 14 mile ride in to the city centre from the Bromsgove area, and no shower at work. So I got an enormous, sturdy cardboard box, put a huge bin liner in it, 'borrowed' my girlfirends rubber shower attachment thing that fitted onto the sink's taps in the disabled loo and I had a slightly crap, homemade shower. Worked a treat though.

Pretty much what I do, but I'd stress the need for good quality base layers (current fave is a merino wool one) because some of the cheapie polypropolene stuff can get rank quickly and seems to regain it's smell even after washing very quickly.

My goodness! I certainly hope you don't 'babywipe' your sweaty parts in public. You cannot justify that under the banner of being a cyclist. ;)
