As a 22mph average cyclist just commuting with very little effort, I admit..

I use cars and rocks to stop me !

Excellent techniques but surely very expensive.

At the speeds I ride Im forced to deploy air brakes and a drogue parachute.
I have retro rockets mounted on my front low-riders.

I was so fast on my chopper I went back in time. I was captured by Nazi forces working for General Hams Kammler, and I was enslaved abd forced to pedal my Raleigh Chopper as fast as I could to power Die Glocke.

Unfortunately, I pedalled so hard that Die Glocke was propelled through time and space to Pennsylvania in 1965, whereupon my legs finally became exhausted and the device crashed.

I escaped, and then backpedalled so fast I was propelled forward in time to the present day, whereupon I was given a Professorship at Cambridge university and a £1.4 million book deal.

don't think that can be bested!

Travelling at light speed, or close to it would do it. I'd like to join in the frivolities and wax lyrical about such endeavours but sadly, as I mentioned previously, I'm pretty much stuck around the 18mph mark. So I need to considerably up my efforts in an attempt to reach those lofty heights!
