Autumn is here, time to get the longs out

After a few really warm weeks its looking like it's back to the jacket and longs for tomorrow.

It's around 6c here at my commute time, definitely got the thicker gloves on and have now started wearing my winter boots too.
A fairly short commute, but still time for fingers/toes to get cold!

Indoors 99% of the year. Did a local 40 mile off road event last weekend. That was my first proper outdoor ride in 3 years.

Zwifting now till spring. So convenient.

Me and the Mrs will do local shopping on the ebikes, but only 4 miles.

But you don't get to visit cafes or see scenery or meet people?

Gilet? I've never figured out why you'd want cold arms.

You don't have cold arms though. You have a warm core. Brilliant things. I have a few of them but a windproof bright orange one from DHB is my go to gilet. Makes you warmer but folds away to nothing.

I enjoy cycling, just prefer to get my kix on Zwift. I've done tours in the Canaries, and several countries in Europe. Just need a very good reason to go outside for more than a local trip.

Talking of tours, the wife actually raised the prospect of a 800-1000 mile tour on our ebikes in Europe. I just need to train her up a bit for repeated daily rides. If her knees hold up to it,it could be on
