Personally I find 'wendyball' a more offensive term than 'Hun' but there we go.

It's not a term I use to describe Rangers' fans, likewise I don't bother calling the side 'Sevco' or 'Newco' or whatever. For whatever it's worth, Killie fans are routinely treated to the chant "You're just Huns without a bus pass".

I dunno where I'm really going with this meander, but questionable language and attitudes are an unfortunate part of football (and lets be honest, all professional sport, but football is in the spotlight because of its popularity) at times, and rightly gets called out.

That’s the wrong approach. Never apologise, never explain. Have you learned nothing?
