I've just been listening to R4 and the revolution in cycling in places like Milan, I was there last year and the amount of cyclists, not in cycling gear, but suits, skirts, and normal everyday clothing was quite eye opening.

Got on to record later tonight. Inspiring but UK has such a long way to go. Hoping there will be regular people not specially dressed in hi viz or polystyrene hats just proving it is a perfectly normal way to travel.

Just watched the show, it would have been nice to compare the frankly idyllic changes there, even though they are not seen as enough to what happened in UK. We are so very backward here are we not. The gap is huge! Inspiring but also depressing when we get a few cones two feet off the curb.
