A few months ago i got two punctures in two days.

This was unusal as a rarely get punctures. But my puncture repair kit was running out of small patches. I really like the 16mm rema patches, as i find them the easiest to fit on skinny tubes. So i thought i'd buy quite a few. I bought a 100 for less than a tenner.

I'm yet to have another puncture. For some reason i'm a little dissapointed

I might be passing them onto my son in my will.

100 Patches?
Blimey.. I think that would last me the rest of my cycling days and more...
I'm a Park Tools self adhesive patch person myself.
Have never let me down.

Do you not find the Park Tool ones fail fairly quickly? I tried a pack of them once, and they were fine for getting home, but I couldn't say I considered them permanent repairs. I've used Weldtite ones which seemed ok, and at the moment I've got some "scabz" which seem to be alright as well.

I have never had one fail.
The inner on my commute bike has one that was applied over a year ago.
There is a proper way to use them.
Just quickly sticking one on a puncture is no good.
You have to prepare as you would if you were using patches and glue.

Wrong. I only run high pressure tyres.
They are fine.
You just have to know how to apply them correctly.

i thought as much as i've seen pictures of your bikes on this site. Unfortunately i have 100 reasons not to try them.
