There's no real objective answer. If set up right they would all be good bikes, which one suits you most and is most comfortable for you can't be answered looking at spec sheets.

Hi vickster

Although it's a good shout with the Halfords info.

What order would you put the 3 bikes in
with No1 being your favourite choice all round.

Cannondale CAADX 105 Cyclocross
Boardman cx team 2015
Focus Mares 3.0

Thanks

I'm like a dog with a bone, once I get my teeth in I cant/don't give up.

And feel free to add your experienced view.

Positive or negative about the bikes

Thanks

Did you ride any bikes yet, it doesn't really matter what I would buy ;)

However, I wouldn't ever buy a black bike nor one with shimano shifters so...two bikes fail on my primary criteria ;). and I'm a British Cycling member and like a deal so....

Hi vickster

Nope not road any bikes yet
And yes it does matter what you would buy (you obviously have knowledge and experiance)
And that would help me choose.

So its the Boardman cx team 2015
For you then ?

Thanks

From those three if I wanted a CX bike, probably

(Although really I'd find more cash and get a kinesis built in lime green  )

But you need to go ride some, bikes have different geometries, characteristics, ride feel etc

Weather forecast is good for tomorrow, get thee to some shops and get on those bikes. Halfords likely won't let you ride them, but at least have a sit on one if you can

Yes its time to start the doing rather than the talking.

There's only so much people can advise.

It will be Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
As working Sunday and Monday

If you are new to bikes and have decided on a specific style eg CX then at a given price-point within the brands most commonly touted on here you will notice very little difference between them. Properly fitted to you they are all much of a much-ness when starting out. A few years down track when you get your next bike you may well be in a position to choose on more subtle parameters.

I have a CX team and love it. Tried the others but IMO the team was the best and best value image.jpg
