Started to watch Boston Legal from the beginning on DVD from Love Film after a recommendation from a cousin... but really only for William Shatner's character!

I am enjoying 'Life on Mars' on DVD as I missed nearly all of it. Have got to series 2,just.

Would also go along with Band of Brothers. The later 'Pacific' in the Far East conflict was not as enjoyable although it is still very high quality stuff.

We have similar tastes, Paul, so I will have to checkout Breakout Bad which I had not heard of until now.

I'd like to watch the first few series of NYPD Blue again, but IIRC, it went a bit iffy in later series, as many do.

Speaking of which ... Hill Street Blues! (Available on 4od last time I checked when I worked my way though Series 1 - 3)

In between here and there
Sopranos was pure genius, and really well thought out black humour which appealed.

The Wire was pretty good

Just started Breaking Bad on Netflix

Ashamed to say I am workin my way through 15 "seasons" of ER for light entertainment when nothing is on.

I quite like Walking Dead as well

I almost went for Rockford - great stuff!

Kojak and Petrocelli are high on my list too.
Yeah, I liked Kojak a lot.

I've got the first five series of Rockford on DVD, and love watching them, but for some reason they never made the sixth season DVD for anything other than Region 1 (USA)

The Sopranos was on Channel 4.
Really!!!

I have no idea how I missed it then. Maybe I was out having fun. We don't have a video recorder or a DVD recorder so if we miss it, we miss it. I don't have the bandwidth to be watching much TV on the internet.
I have been thinking of late, to get The Sopranos on DVD from Love Film or similar. It sounds like its worth the watching.
