I'm Big Foot... well feet...

I take between a size 12 and 13 depending on width of fitting (13 is really too long). With a really wide shoe (or more commonly a sandal) I can get into an 11 comfortably... :/

Currently I ride in some old skate shoes (size 12), they're fairly comfy nice and wide but completely grip-less off the pedal.

I need recommendations for a shoe that I can wear for everyday comfort on/off bike. I primarily ride mixed off/on roads so it needs to have some traction for walking off road. But be stiff enough (foot-bed) to not hinder riding. Don't want walking boots as I have some good saloman boots which aren't much fun to ride in.

How about something like a Merrell or a North Face - I prefer flat soled shoes myself as the rugged ones catch on the pedals (but I'm a rubbish rider) but rugged soles better for rugged walking! Look on the Millets website. If strapped for cash, Sports Direct do similar types things from Karrimor
