Big Issue E-bike hire

The Big Issue are planning to launch an e-bike hire scheme in the new year. As well as bike hire it's intended to provide work for people with training and support for people to manage the scheme in their area.

Sounds a great idea but I can't see how they'll avoid the issues that other schemes have had of bikes being stolen & chucked in rivers & canals.

Could be a credit card deposit which doesn't come out of your account till a couple of days after you return it. If returned its cancelled.
If you order your groceries online they don't actually take the money out until they deliver.
