hardly secure but otherwise fine I suppose

The Anchor point is crap. How long the material will last is anyone's guess. Mine is not too long. How much is your bike worth? Either a proper small shed for say a £100/200 or one of those garden tool sheds from B&Q for about £100 or the full monty as reviewed here but I wouldn't bother with the cave.

I can't afford a shed, plastic, metal or wood. Why is the Anka Point rubbish? Surely a permenant fixing is great for security?
Cheers all

I had one made by a Blacksmith in the form of a U shape with welded brackets which bolted to the wall with 4 2 inch bolts. The one supplied would be ripped out easily, perhaps by even using the bike frame.

I had a look at this but as Crackle says, the 'Anka Point' doesn't look that strong. Though is it really that much less secure than a fairly cheap wooden shed from B&Q - and if you were to get a more robust anchor point from a blacksmith, wouldn't it possibly be better?
