Bike Maintenance Book

I'm off to sleepbyes but for all you still trawling this very addictive sight can any one recommend a book which will help me with basic bike maintenance ie. adjusting gears etc. Figure with three bikes in the house should be learning a bit more about them.

Suzi, depending on the bikes you have, take a look at the manufacturer's technical docs - Shimano in particular do some good guides to setting up derailleurs, brakes etc.

BicycleTutor (as linked to by Dayvo) is great too - a video of the task, and clear, well written instructions for printing out and taking to the garage

i really like this one. It's also quite small - about 15cm tall so could go in a pannier for emergencies...
