Bike off the road GGrr !

Visiting the LBS .

I had to install a rear derailleur as the one on it was toast after a winter but i guess the one i had in my bits box is not completely compatible with the rest of the bike as i could not get the indexing spot on.
Lloyds cycles in Swadlincote played around with it and could not get it sweet either so i guess its a new rear mech .

B**G**r !! I was very happy as i had managed to get it on without even having to dismantle the chain.

looks like the nicer bike will be pressed into commuting duties till it has been fixed .

You have my every sympathy. My commuter was off the road for a couple of months recently while I faffed about working out what to do with the hub gear. I trust yours will be back on the road a lot sooner than that!
