Much as he deserves it, spraying things that could damage his car or paintwork may get you into trouble. Either physically if he brings his mates along or legally if he decides to press charges. The only real option is to report this to the Police and hope they will take some action!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
As Drago said to some one once, if you do get fiesty with some one you don't know if they are going to be the next Kenneth Noy. Discretion being the better part of valour and all that I'd agree that it's not worth exposing oneself to legal action from him. That would be far more frustrating in the long run than just biding ones time.

Offence. Technically an assault. Report to dibble.

Or find out where he lives and fill his washer jets with superglue, though of course I do not condone that sort of thing.

Funnily enough it's a black Corsa been causing me grief recently. Bicyclists should avoid black Poxhauls at all costs.

Note - do not fill anything with a noxious liquid with the intention of squirting him of his car as such contrivances are section 5 firearms and you WILL go to prison if caught.

I said it on another thread recently but " why is it always a Corsa"?

These really do seem to be the car of choice for obnoxious young n*bheads and in particular the black model with black windows, registered between 2002 and 2006. The insurance companies should really be trebling the rates for these cars as so many of them must be ending up smashed up due to stupid testosterone fuelled sillyness (both by young males and females!).

Some even get insurance by being second drivers on policies taken out by their parents on their cars.
Frowned on by insurance companies if they have been honest and won't make any difference to the premiums. However, if they have said that is the parents car when it isn't and they are the only one driving it, it that is fraud.

BTW, wife and both daughters each have a Corsa. :boxing:

But if you've 65% NCD, with jnr on 'your' policy are you going to be happy with plod at the door saying he's acting like a dick when driving?

No, they don't, but it ain't half funny giving people their comeuppance.

The Police is probably your best bet. While spraying oven cleaner into his eyes while hitting on the head with a baseball bat and this that and the other will make you feel better it makes you no better than him. Hit him where it hurts - his insurance.

Or just write something rude on his lawn in weedkiller....
(joke of course!)

It's a shame that this can't be dealt with by a clip round the ear, but these are the times in which we live.

If you think there's a chance you can find out where he lives, then do that and make sure he sees you. The boy (no doubt living with his parents) might think differently if he knows that you know his address. And you've not actually done anything wrong at that point...

You can also complain to LBC as this method of spraying cyclists was actually recommended by a caller to Julia Hartley-Brewer's show on Friday afternoon

I agree with your approach of keeping right on your side. Asking him if his Mummy knows he drives like that, or whether he would like a visit from the Babylon might only inspire him to worse.

The police can't invalidate an MOT certificate or make someone get a new one.

They can give him a rectification notice, though. He has 7 days to have it fixed and provide the poloce with the evidence of having done so. I think.
