That'll do fine for the return leg, but the OP is going north.

Heh. Good catch. Buckingham palace, the Mall, Trafalgar square, all of the Strand, left into Drury Lane, straight on for a while then around the right side of the museum to continue straight on along Malet Street, right then left into Gordon Street I think and Euston is ahead. Apart from the fiddly Trafalgar square, it's bike lanes, bus lanes and side roads all the way from the palace to Euston. Covent garden is nicer than the Strand but fiddly SW to north.

I've only ever taken a Brompton in a cab but I don't suppose that's much help to you either.

As a cabbie I've taken many bikes. It's not a problem. I usually use the seat belt to hold it in place but it's not really necessary
