Which tyres? I put 32mm Duranos on mine. Hopefully I can get some fixed guards to fit (pannier rack on rear too).

I've fixed my MX up with upgraded parts, and it's now the bike it promised to be.

Vitoria rananduer pro 32mm, like these but with the reflective strip, I wanted that as I use as a winter tyre

I have 32mm gatorskins on with Halfords own brand mudguards and a bikehut disc rack. Happy to take close up pictures of any required areas.

well here it is, done up with existing rack and clip-on guards. rides really smooth, even making some local pavé quite rideable...
