Book on New Zealand

I am thinking of cycle touring in New Zealand, North Island in 2012.

Do you know of a book I could buy from amazon with loads of information about cycling in New Zealand. Just to give me some ideas.

Id start with the peddlers paradise guide and then read a few journals off Crazy Guy on a Bike - then make it up as you go along

Long Cloud Ride by Josie Dew is about her nine month tour of both NZ islands.

The North Island is not the best part of the country for cycle touring these days because of the amount of traffic on a lot of the roads (be aware that a lot of NZ rural roads are not sealed and can be quite rough), although there are still some good sealed routes where the traffic is relatively light.
