I have used Kool stop Salmons on my speedster and they were far better than the original pads especially in the wet. At the moment I am using Halt Gooey pads which seem to stop well and are good in wet. The makers claim they are kind to the rims as well. Cant comment on how long they last as they have been on for about 1000 miles and are part worn but useable still.

The older I get, the faster I used to be ...
I'm using Discos in 105 holders. Will all brands' replacements fit other brands' holders? Is the design standardised?
