Yebbut... Jimmy Carr simply isn’t funny.
Except when he got caught trying to dodge paying tax. That was hilarious!

Including sexism, racism and homophobia?I think everything in moderation.
Have to agree with 'most' of what you say.I think everything in moderation. There are jokes that are borderline and Comedians like Jimmy Carr push this constantly. But the main thing is understanding when something is a joke and when something isn't. If you're easily offended. Don't go to comedy shows
I think what you mean is everything in context. When Bernard Manning and his ilk used to make jokes about minorities he was definitely punching downwards. Just as if someone posts a racist joke on here they are correctly called out. Context.I think everything in moderation.
Yeah cos Jimmy Carr's spaz jokes are absolutely hilarious.I think everything in moderation. There are jokes that are borderline and Comedians like Jimmy Carr push this constantly. I once described a colleague as 'a modest man who had much to be modest about'. I think that is along similar lines
Reminds me of Clive Anderson interviewing Jeffrey Archer and asking him “Is there no beginning to your talents?"
I work with lots of Irish men and they are hilarious, now I have got my head around their accent. I love my job as we seem to work hard and laugh hard in equal measures. The Jewish are the best at self deprecating humour, with the Irish not far behind.
Because it's freeQuick aside. Why the healthcare? I thought Italian healthcare was meant to be pretty good. And Italians certainly take care of their health (excessively I'd say) - the Italians I know think British doctors are uncaring ignorant murderers. And so are inclined to fly back to have their tonsils peered at.
That was the (self deprecating) joke![]()
