If it's only a bruise and there's no blood in your urine, why waste time at A&E? What can they tell you that you don't already know?

For something like this, if I felt in any way concerned about it, I would go to the minor injuries unit at my local surgery. Doesn't hurt to get the opinion of a medical professional, even if there's not much they can do about it.

It is possible to cause, er, life-changing damage to the structure of the penis but I guess you won't know if that's happened until the bruising has faded and things return to normal.
