I scalped some guy on a full suspension mountain bike with knobbly tyres on a 20 degree climb, was very satisfying. He was doing like 5mph and I was stuck behind him till I could overtake. Then I managed to double his pace after I passed. You got a video of these 67 overtakes?

You need to try a 10 mile time trial with other cyclists who will be gunning for it,that should put you in your place;)

I didn't realise it was you untill you came past shouting.. you are not the only one pleased we split, i couldn't have kept that up for much longer!

I like the vid with all the dials - very geeky impressive. Interesting to see the gentle drop in elevation towards Stockwell. Perhaps you can add an overtaking counter;)

Looking at the speeds, I'm guessing my cadence was in the 140s on the fixed:

I'm not sure that blue bib shorts are all that flattering though - I only have one pair and am tempted to consign them to the "long ride" drawer...

The guy you pass at 11 secs is Mike from South Wimbledon - really nice chap and lovely bike(s).

'av a word with her will you? I've seen her a fair few times but, to be fair, there are a few other women on that route who are attempting to follow her lead

Wanda, I think I've worked out who you are! On a hybrid, petite, on the A24/3 at around 8.20ish? Post on BR?

BTW - I only know the child seat/basket rider via very infrequent chats at the lights.

It's slightly down hill along there, (our speed along that stretch was too fast for the conditions) but flattens out as you approach Stockwell tube.

No doubt, i had to slow down as soon as i overtook you  and then when you passed me by the bus there is no where to overtake with traffic around us.

 Yeah, that would be me. I love that word 'petite' makes a change from 'short', 'shorty', 'titch'
