Is calzone a pizza? It sounds more like a toilet cleaner.

The long defunct Murphy's Pizza Bar in the west end of Glasgow used to do a chicken tikka calzone.

An eclectic fusion of Mediterranean and Asian cuisine, I believe it was described as.

Certainly ticked all the boxes for me.

But it's a folded pizza.

I'm not going down the root vegetable route.

Likr some sort of clod hopper.

Peasant farmer yes, but in the best tradition of such.

Ooh yes artichokes food of the Goddesses - some left over from last year

Actually vegan haggis could be a good addition for one..

You can even get smoked vegan chorizo now.. Made from saitan (I think) .

Weird but just about edible.
