If you are a regular cyclist you probably don't throw any food out, you are probably like me, peering into pans just before washing up just incase there is an escapee. We never throw out any food either - I cycle 4000 mile a year then we have a dog, then I feed the birds then we have a compost heap - no food goes in our bin[/QUOTE]
I don't throw food out because there is nothing I won't eat. I have been asked not to lick the plate.
I have no dog at the moment but my mates bitch is looking like she will explode at any moment, so I will have one soon. A lot of dogs are not all that fussy what they will eat.
I have 4 compost bins, more to do with not using it than being an uber composter. Seem to get to many weeds in it. Only use it in the bottom half of deep plant pots or burying it deep so the weeds don't come through.
