I did twice my age on Monday and plan on doing the same 5 more times at least this year. Then I can retire from all the silly Eddington number nonsense.

I still need 46 more days of 50 miles to do that

I knew I hadn't done many, but I thought I had done more than 4.

Hoefully get a few more 50+ miles in this year, 44 is the longest so far (and that was only this Monday).

I'd done so many 100.5 mile rides that when I got to 100 it was like starting all over again. I needed 15 101+ mile rides just to increase my Eddington from 100 to 101. So I decided to rest on my laurels.

Lots of impressive people in this thread. I’m 71. I don’t think I’ve ever cycled more than 35-40 miles in a day. Simply never had the need. But age in miles is an interesting concept, and now I feel challenged. Have to see what I can do.

I need 5 more 120's to get to that number then a massive jump of 24 121's to get to that number, 35x 122's
I'm not planning on chasing a higher Eddington after getting the 120.

I can comfortably do around 40 miles. Uncomfortably 50 to 60 miles.
My record is 90 miles from my hours to the in laws in the New Forest. Only done that once though.

I did a solo 100 miler once when I was 69...until a friend with a Garmin later told me it was only 97 miles.

Nowadays 40 miles is my limit...with a coffee break at the halfway.
