Coelacanth was an oily fish ( you have to do this in a Brooklyn accent though)

:biggrin::biggrin::biggrin::biggrin:

I'm going to remember that one and try it out one day!

ooh, I'll mention that to my sister. She is trying baby Oli on all sorts of veg and fruit purrees and he seems to have quite a wide range of likes... Not quite up to real solids yet, but it won't be long.

Coincidentally Arch, my little boy is called Oli too.

Kids love it and full of Omega3 which is apparently good for them

And some weeks, I have tuna for two or four dinners, half a tin at a time, either in a tomato or cheese sause, with pasta or rice.

not good for tuna stock and definitely not good for you. Mercury. Sorry

I'm an oily fish in tins sort of bloke. It's supposed to cut your chances of a heart attack, which, given my poor choice of ancestors, is pretty much 100%. The trouble is...once you start on the marine life in tins thing, you can't stop. Tinned squid chunks in ink. Oysters in cottonseed oil. Mackerel in green peppercorn sauce. Little octopus bits. Scallops in fishy sauce (which is ridiculous when Waitrose sells them fresh).
