Kickass and cutting edge are two modifiers no one will apply to this bicycle. True, it has the platform rack on the front, but the hipster crowd would rather modify an old bike than have Cannondale build an old bike for them, and charge them too much for it. A better example in this field is the Raleigh Lorry, though also greatly overpriced for the market.

Now I don't think that lorry is ugly at all. It's got interesting symmetry and is quirky. The connondale is as a previous poster said - like an orthopedic shoe.

Rohloff, although it is also heavy. And just the hub is almost double the price of that Cannondale.
