Carbon Fibre Frames; Why?

Just opened the carton

Looks fantastic, even better in the flesh than on the picture with a slightly lighter shade of blue. Off to the LBS tomorrow for a headset and I'll get them to knock the crown race on. Well happy

I can think of one advantage. In extremely cold weather you can safely lick a carbon frame. If you do the same with a metal frame your tongue will stick to it and that hurts (when you remove it). There may be other advantages.
