Well. Halfords are going to "inspect" it this morning. I managed to get the order number from a very nice lady on the phone as I cannot find the receipt. I mean really helpful, which was nice

Hope you get a good result.

I bought a bottom bracket from them once. The "mechanic" who was assembling a childs bike at the time had no idea what the spacers were for (I knew but was interested if he did).

The chap said he will fit a rubber component to prevent this happening again, plus dry lube all the cables etc..

Just an update really, the frame has been changed, nice job. No problems so far.....
It looks as if the cable entry points have been modified on this frame as it's slightly different. more flat edged than a round profile on the outside.
We will see

I realise that a Cervelo frame is more expensive than a Boardman but look at this as away it could be done
