Fingers crossed its fixed and back to normal for the weekend
I'm not sure that it being fixed will be back to normal for me! I don't know whether it's because I'm on the heavy side or if it's because of a poorly built wheel, but I used to repeatedly break spokes on my rear wheel, then pay to get them fixed and the wheel retrued only for another one to break a few days later. Just left it after the last time - have done the last 1200 miles or so on a buckled wheel with no more breakages ^_^ Surprised it lasted so long before the terminal grindies kicked in, though, particularly since I rode it right through winter.

Maybe worth getting some better wheels?

Well i've stripped and rebuilt calipers and now finally got new pads, wheels, tyres, tubes, cassette, big chainring and bottom bracket all fitted but forgot lost missing link for chain on cc ride doh! :banghead:
Aaaaargh!!!! The snapped chain took out a jockey wheel and there's the telltale rustdust at top of forks...way this is going i'd better check frame for cracks aswell!!! :B)

Some of the gusts were knocking me 2 feet to the side on sunday, must be the bladed spokes ;) scary though

Glad i was out on the saturday and not the sunday as the wind was stonger on the sunday

I didn't go out yesterday because of the wind, just too dangerous esp if there are cars, lorries overtaking you. today looks grand though!

Yep, perfect riding weather today. Nice and warm, very light breeze, hoping it's the same on Saturday!
