Hi I live in a small flat that is fully insulated even the walls, the lowest temperature I've seen is 15c, my lounge and bedroom are south facing so only the kitchen and bathroom ar a bit colder, but I can put up with that.

Where as I currently live in a 200 hundred year old house( I say currently because Mrs W has us moving house more often than I get a new bike😂😂😂) Although it was completely renovated 10 years ago, it has 3 floors and 5 bedrooms. So as I said earlier wood burner on for an hour and we are opening the French doors but go in to the downstairs loo and if the heatings not on you might get frost nip on your bum.😱

Mens skin is thicker than women's, according to my egotherapist colleagues.

One theory is that men needed thicker skin and more hair so we would be less affected by cold, thorns or danger when out hunting, whereas women needed to be aware of temperature changes so they could react quickly to potentially dangerous drops in temperature for babies.
High or low temperatures don't really bother me. Windy nights, outside, the windows stay open all year round. So the heating doesn't go on.

House currently running at 21C downstairs and 19C upstairs. No heating at all yet, but I've started shutting the landing window for the night. It's been open all summer, but now the nights are getting cooler, it's just too chilly to have it open.

I've also switched from leggings and a light fleece to wearing a onesie in the evening.

Will probably be at least another month before I think about the storage heaters. No need for the fire and back boiler yet.

P.S. @fossyant - car A/C set at 22C for me...
