Cheese on toast is the food of the gods, but only if done correctly.

1. Toast 1 side of bread under grill
2. turn over and add sliced cheese
3. grill until cheese is all melted and bubbling.
4. add topping if required.

Chilli is great on cheese on toast, but not as good as red onion and sausage.

That chilli tomato puree is good spread on the toast pre cheese adding.

I made a cheese toastie and a ham toastie. Left the room for 2 minutes to let them both cool down and when I came back in I noticed a there was nibble missing from each of them. I then saw my daughter's rabbit dead on the floor.

Apparently it died from mixin-me-toasties.

I hope by sliced cheese you mean a nice piece of mature Cheddar (or similar) that has been sliced in preference to grated? as opposed to that processed spawn of the devil plastic cr@p.
