Choosing GCSE's (for my daughter)

I really dont see the point in doing 4 or more at A2, unis dont even look for more than 3.
Did you hear about that pakistani girl though who go 22 A's at a-level??

Does it matter where she is from? Why cant you just put, the girl that got 22 A's at A-Level?

Ill still be doing 3 next year, as i dont think it would be good for me to drop down to 2. Well, i wouldnt mind, but i dont think it would be a good thing to do

Quite a few people i know have taken 5 AS levels and will take four A levels.

WCMnr ended up with 4 x A2 and a couple of AS levels. But in our neck of the woods it's pretty standard to be taking 4 AS levels & dropping to 3 at A2.

I'm in As level (which is first year), doing Medieval history, Gov and Politics, Business Studies and English Lit. Got to the stage where I have to drop one of them. I want to drop three of them so it's not brilliant! What are you doing RW?

We have to take 4 at AS. Why not take an 'easier' subject to do for one year.
economics is very respected btw though
