Judging by the state of the citizens outside The Electric Ballroom last time I visited, all of The London Borough of Camden is high.

In the interests of nostalgia I was thinking of riding the hybrid that I started out quite happily doing 70-mile night rides on in 2011 .

And while the Brompton holds a lot of appeal, I have also been thinking about doing it on the 1978 5-speed mixte on which I rode my first FNRttC - also in 2011 and I remember your hybrid!

I'll be there (on the Merc, which has not done any proper Friday Night Ride yet, and defo without and Xmas glitter) but will peel off at the half-way stop, as I have to catch a plane on Sunday midday.

funnily enough i was looking longingly at Christmas jumpers in Next the other day. Didn't buy. Can easily stretch to a Father Christmas hat - as I own one already. Can do a Santa Suit in red but really it's a ski suit and has Real Fur round the hood so probs best left at home.
