Cracking a solo.
I have on many occasions wrapped my trainers in cling film (well pallet shrink wrap actually) when it's been hammering down and I've been on the flats, works a treat :okay:

I hope so, he is flying from Northern Ireland to pick it up.
I have sold a couple of motorbikes to people from over there. All down to the heavy tax element that they pay on purchasing new over there, which filters down when buying second hand too. They are charged some on registering the car over there, but it's far cheaper to do it that way than buy from over there.

Anyone wrap their white bar tape in clingfilm? My hubby wraps his yellow bar tape in cling film and it stays lovely. Just wondering if anyone else had tried this. If not how often will white bar tape need replacing
White bar tape can be cleaned easily with lubricant on a white cloth.

Spray lubricant on cloth, wrap cloth around handle bars and grab the cloth and move it back and forth like your revving a motorbike . Brings bar tape up lovely.

Top tip... Make sure your lubricant is a clear liquid as some have a yellow tinge which gives the bar tape a yellow tinge.

Tomorrow a car I have owned from new for more than 10 years is being picked up by its new owner (assuming his flight is ok). The car still has the plastic film covering on the door trims. I think that makes me sadder than the OP.

There is an early Mk I Cortina which does the rounds of classic car shows here which has only done about 10,000 miles from new and still has the plastic film over the seats. Really is a time warp.
