The Glue that binds us together.
Fitted a set of look pedals, and bought a pair of shimano cycling shoes, went out for a short run 10 miles, just love these pedals, though i was a bit weary of them to start with it did not take long to get used to them, makes you feel like you are part of the bike, will not be going back to normal pedals, shimano shoes really comfortable, not bad for 60 quid, longer run tommorrow will get out a bit earlier so i don't lose the light, not to keen on cycling in the dark, as a newbie to road bikes clip in is the way to go. will not be getting rid of the mtb but i can see a lot more road work coming on, lol
Cheers Del.

Aye, went clipless some years back. Wouldn't change now and clipping in is quite automatic. I admit to a couple of mishaps along the way , initially when I was getting used to them otherwise momentary inattention.....part of lifes rich tapestry I suppose.
I never changed from flats on the MTB though, prefer the ability to dismount very quickly if the situation demands....
