Good morning,
Good price if you're in the market for 10 speed tiagra shifters
https://www.ribblecycles.co.uk/tiagra-4700-sti-lever-pair-10-x-2-speed/
I know some purists may frown at this, but at that price they could be great for a bike with much older brake levers and D/T or B/E shifters.

I really prefer the much bigger hoods that modern STI levers have over "classic" designs and there is no requirement that the STI part needs to be connected to cables.

I recently swapped from classic Shimano 600 to modern Ultegra and it did not change my life, but it is a big improvement.

Elite Direto is notoriously inaccurate, too. A lot of people report that they overreport power by around 10%, which is pretty terrible.
I'm not interested in other people's power output, but I might want to monitor my own power output to see how it changes over time.
If I remember correctly, that requires precision, but I don't need to care about accuracy.

I had no problem while belt tension gave calibration numbers close to the number on the sticker under the unit. Numbers were very close to my 4iiii.

But after being heavily used for ~4 winters and having one belt change, the flywheel became incredibly hard to turn, needing at least 150W iirc.

So I replaced it with a Saris H3 around Easter '22.

I used to race ppl on Zwift on my Neo against many with those & some will have had a 10% power advantage. In an hour long race going hard it’s like they’re on an EPO & steroid program in comparison.

Yes, this website shows multiple high-risk indicators of being a scam.
While there are legitimate charities and small local projects globally named "Hope on Wheels", the specific e-commerce website linked (hopeonwheels.pt) uses classic fraudulent tactics designed to steal payment information or target buyers looking for a deal. [1, 2]
The key red flags on this website include:

1. Completely Disconnected Contact Information
The "Contact Information" page for a .pt (Portugal) domain lists an address at 98A Ditchling Rise, Brighton, BN1 4QQ, United Kingdom. This mismatch between a Portuguese domain extension and a random UK residential street address is an immediate red flag used to hide the site operators' real location. [1]

2. Suspicious Customer Service Email
The official customer support email listed on their policy page is france_cardinal08@gmx.com. A legitimate e-commerce business will always use a professional custom email domain (like support@hopeonwheels.pt), never a free, anonymous webmail provider like GMX. [1]

3. Out-of-Category Product Catalog
The brand statement in their public profiles notes they are focused on "exploring Portugal" and "nurturing well-being." Yet, their store catalog features highly sought-after, expensive indoor smart bike trainers. Scammers frequently seed their storefronts with popular, high-value tech and fitness items to capture organic search and shopping traffic. [1]

4. No Third-Party Retailing for Zwift Bundles
Legitimate Wahoo trainers pre-equipped with the Zwift Cog and Click layout are generally restricted to Wahoo's official distribution networks, major regional cycle marketplaces, and direct authorized brand partners. Standard generic discount websites do not have access to these specific hardware configurations.[1, 2]

How to Stay Safe
  • Do not enter your credit card or personal details onto this site.
  • If you have already made a purchase, contact your bank or credit card provider immediately to report the transaction as fraud and secure your account.
  • Stick to verified regional retailers if you want to purchase this device safely. [1]

Would you like me to find the best current pricing from verified, authorized retailers for this trainer, or do you need help reporting this website to domain registrars?
