As long as I breathe, I attack.
A bit of a thread hijack ,
My desk top pc has started playing up as the sata drive sometimes reads it full capacity or 0 mb in the boot sequence and the whole pc hangs during boot.
I installed the OS win xp pk 3 to the secondary ide drive which boots fine but as soon as i try to use the usb wifi dongle the pc freezes even though there are no conflicts in device manager. The dongle does not detect any networks even though i know there is one and my crappy net book with a big blackspot in the screens corner can find work.
I cannot use recovery console as it cannot detect the sata drive and even the raid utility in bios cannot format the drive.
