Cost of a Life

Did anybody catch the wee bit on BBC breakfast news ? it showed Magnatom's Tanker vid and BBorp's idiot. Interestingly it also interviewed a fleet manager and his company had equipped their lorries with multiple cameras and sensors and he reckoned it only costs around £600-700. I know a cyclist caught on the left side of a left turning lorry can be responsible but that price seems cheap when compared to the cost of a life and the other costs involved (the poor driver life etc. may be ruined).

btw there's a thread in commuting on this, Admin feel free to delete this late duplicate.
