With the crossing at Grosvenor Road.

Cyclist A jumped the red light on Vauxhall Bridge Road, just as the lights for Grosvenor road went green, Cyclist B set off, saw cyclist A and stopped, cyclist A carried on going swerved to go infront of cyclist b, but decided to then swerve behind but then hit cyclist B side on.

Cyclist A was riding a old dusty bike which had the de-railers and cables removed, a v.slack chain but all the normal sprockets!

Cyclist B was riding a Colanago. V.nice it was indeed.

Least to say cyclist b wasn't v.happy and was having words with A.

Or cyclist C? - at a distance, rolling around on the floor in tears of laughter?

I'm sorry, I find multiple bicycle crashes are usually quite hilarious when no one gets hurt ;)

Fool! That is a really busy junction. I really despair at some of the behaviour I see around there, normally there are more cars than cyclists RLJing though.

cyclist v cyclist- who won Gaz?!
I think you're both being enormously magnanimous in using the word 'cyclist' twice over in your posts. "POB versus cyclist", surely?

I don't like the term POB-they might have been riding stupidly and unwisely but I prefer not to alienate with terms like that.

cyclist was right- still an idiot - what a junction to play chicken on

Would love to agree but sadly, from my experience, this is not the case:sad:

Indeed, on a typical commute (and I go along Grosvenor Road past Vauxhall Bridge every day) the split is roughly as follows:-

Just as many cars and bicycles amber-gambling (i.e. passing through an amber light when it would have been safe to stop).

Just as many cars and bicycles going through red lights that have been red for a second or so (the London extension to amber-gambling).

Very very rarely (but there are some) do I see a car going through lights which have been red for more than a couple of seconds, but hundreds (yes hundreds) of cyclists that do this.

Almost no cars jumping the red light a couple of seconds or so before it changes to green, but a few cyclists (ones that have stopped for the red light but will go when the lights have gone red for the other feeds/directions).
