Creaky crank

Thoroughly enjoying my new road bike.
One thing I've noticed. When out of the saddle, climbing. The Bottom bracket/crank creaks on the down stroke of the right crank. What could this be? No creaks otherwise.

it could be a few things.
How new is the bike?
The BB may need tightening, you can do this yourself easy enough, if not confident enough or do not have the correct tools take it back to the store and ask them to check.
It could also be the pedals or the crank bolts. Tighten these up see if it makes a difference.

It may be the bearings in your pedals.
