Try drilling holes in the walls of our house, we live in a 50s 'ex-council' (cast 'in situ' concrete with re-bar) 'Semi', any drilling is likely to hit either a pebble or a steel bar at some point.

How many bikes do you have? This was in Charleston, USA (and that's just the upper-deck!)

I have my current fleet (down to just 5) hanging from the front wheel on hooks (pressed steel, cycle specific) on the back wall of my garage)
