Can someone suggest a good quality cycling glove with plenty of padding on the palms?

I will be fitting gel grips as well.

Endura something or other - new ones I've been wearing for the last week have been good - not gel - the gel ones go all bobby after a few day in the rain

Specialized BG Gel work fine for me. Excellent padding and also wash well I've found.

I've spent money on expensive gloves in the past, that've become tatty after a year. I wouldn't spend more than 20 quid and just buy more when the old ones become tatty.

I generally like the old school crochet glove with leather palm, these are padded, with some foam between. I can't speak much for that color.

I find that North Wave gloves have quite good gel padding in the right places and they're my favourites for longer rides at the moment. My Specialized gloves fit beautifully and they are well made, but they're not particularly padded. I possibly have a different model to the other posters.

Edit: Undoubtedly a different model I'd say, they're more like they're made for skid/ road rash protection rather than comfort over distance.

A fiver. They're only lightly padded but you can have too much padding, imo. Also, they cost a fiver.

Louis garneau. I like their gel mitts but they aren't as padded as specialized bg gels
