I am only getting a license because my job will require me to drive frequent long distances (I am becoming a Civil Engineer). I wont be getting a car until I know I need one though (still two years left of my degree).

Same here; covered 500 more miles by bike than by car last year and looks promising for it to be 1000 miles this year.

I have been car-less for 10 months now, I haven't really missed it.I started counting my bike miles at the end of February when I got my new bike, and I'm up to 604 miles now
