How big are the glasses? If the glasses are two molecules wide, is that still true? Or are we accepting an average of 200ml?

There once was a cat, 'twas a tom,
Which jumped up and down, with aplomb.
One day it jumped high
Right into the sky
And came down again, a tom bomb!

(An average strand of hair is 50,000,000 atoms wide)

Hmmm...

200ml? So 200g or so.

Thats 11.1 moles of water.

Multiply by Avogadros constant, I make that something in the region of 6.7x10 to the power of 24 molecules. Multiply by three for the number of atoms, about 2 x 10 to the 25.

6.6 times ten to the 9 people in the world... There are many, many, many more orders of magnitude more atoms in a glass of water than there are glasses. Unless every person owns, like, 10 to the power of 15 glasses.

There are more stars in the universe than there are grains of sand on the earth! Amazing fact...got that off 'The Planets' BBC series. What an amazing series that was.
