More seriously, the only reason we find some of these names difficult to pronounce is that in general the British are not that good at foreign languages.

Well i always thought GIANT was the same as the Jolly green giant,but it turns out it's pronounced GEE ANT!

It is not pronounced GEE ANT.... You were correct its the same as the Jolly green giant, watch this video and you will hear people from the company pronounce it that way.
