I used to game at a semi-pro level so I've owned:
Xbox/360
PSX/1/2/3
NES/SNES/N64
and (in my opinion the best of all) PC.
Out of the current generation consoles I would pick PC, then PS3 then Xbox, purely because PC needs a decent skill level to play RTS and FPS games, so are a challenge. PS3 doesn't come with a headset/mic, so most people don't bother using one (though the audience is generally more mature), whereas Xbox everyone has a substandard mic with a 10 year old kid on the other end telling you they're going to find you and murder your family or similar, for killing them on an online game.
Just my personal opinion of course
And I know I'm a bit slow with this but...
... Id like to get one of those dancing games but too embarassed to walking to a till with it
